Controversial TV producer Juan Osorio sure knows how to get people sippin’ tea when answering questions about ideas for future shows.

During a recent interview, Osorio revealed that he might be interested in making a series based on the relationship between Shakira and Gerard Piqué, which ended last month.

“Juan Osorio would like to produce the story of the separation between Shakira and Piqué!?” digital reporter Edén Dorantes posted on social media.

Osorio commented that “he would love to do” a series on Shakira and Piqué featuring “each one on their own and then they get together and [have] two babies, their life and then the separation.”

He continued: “I think that one should always have that vision to always be generating ideas. Nowadays, a lot of content is needed.”

In early June, Shakira and Piqué ended their long-term relationship when they released a joint statement. Their relationship is rumored to have ended because of infidelity on Piqué’s part, although neither side has confirmed those reports.

“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” the joint statement read. “We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect.”

Osorio is no stranger to drama on and off the screen. He upset the family of Vicente Fernández earlier this year when he produced an unauthorized bioseries on the late singer called El Último Rey: El Hijo Del Pueblo. Fernández’s widow called it “theft.” Osorio responded by announcing a second season.
