The cast for the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars has been revealed! Among the 14 celebrities competing for the mirrorball trophy, two Latinas are joining the cast.
First up is two-time Olympic gymnast, Jordan Chiles.
Chiles shared the news on Instagram with a couple of photos in blue dance wear, posing in a solo portrait and alongside her dance partner, Argentinian Dancing with the Stars pro Ezra Sosa.
“Chat- we made it!!!! DWTS!!! P.s when fifth harmony has a reunion!!!” reads Chiles caption, which also makes reference to Fifth Harmony band member Lauren Jaregui’s participation this season as well.

Unlike Chiles who already has photos with her partner, Jaregui found out that she would be participating just two days prior to the cast announcement. She’ll be dancing with Brandon Armstrong.
In a broadcast interview with Good Morning America (GMA) on Wednesday (September 3), she shared the news of her involvement. “I actually learned that I was going to be on the show two days ago. So I haven’t unfortunately gotten to get in with Brandon yet.” She also shared how she told Fifth Harmony members this morning as well.
Chiles was also asked how her Gymnastics background would inform her dance training, to which she said, “I mean, I don’t know if my training with gymnastics is really going to help with the training of dancing, but I can definitely say that work ethic, you know the part that I feel confident (about) is definitely there.”

Audiences can rest assured that Chiles’ award-winning flips will make an appearance, “I definitely want to incorporate what I’m best known as is to flip, so I’m hoping you know, just (to) incorporate that as much as I can,” says Chiles, adding that her dance partner is “very much aware” of the flip incorporations.
Dancing with the Stars Season 34 premieres on Tuesday, September 16, on ABC and Disney Plus. It will also be available to view on Wednesday, September 17 on Hulu.
