One particular character will look very different in Season 3 of The Last of Us.

Dominican-American actor Jorge Lendeborg Jr. has joined the cast of the video game adaptation to play the role of Manny, a role that was originally played by Danny Ramirez in Season 2. HBO had previously announced that Ramirez would not be returning to the series due to scheduling conflicts.

Manny is one of the Fireflies, and one of the group, including Abby, Owen, Mel, and Nora, who were there as Abby ultimately took revenge for her father and brutally killed Pedro Pascal’s Joel in front of Ellie. That means he stands firmly on Ellie’s path of reveng. And as Season 2 already proved, Ellie will stop at nothing. She has already killed Nora, Owen, and Mel. So as far as the timeline of the show goes, only Abby and Manny are left.

Season 3 of the show is expected to do the same switch the games did and show us the same story we saw last season, this time from Abby’s POV. Everyone’s the hero of their own story, and the villain of someone else’s after all.

Lendeborg Jr. is known for his role as Memo in Bumblebee and has also appeared in the Spider-Man films and Love, Simon. He’s got two upcoming projects, Halloween Store and Odisea, on top of his newly announced appearance in Season 3 of The Last of Us

Other Latine actors in The Last of Us include Isabela Merced’s Dina and Gabriel Luna’s Tommy.

As for Pascal and Ramirez, they’ll be starring together in the gay romance movie De Noche. It tells the story of a passionate and unexpected love affair between a cop (Pascal) and a boarding school teacher (Ramirez) in 1930s Los Angeles according to Variety.
