The wait is almost over. On July 3, fans of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton, will get a chance to see the original Broadway production of the Tony winning musical about that famed founding father. Filmed at The Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway in June of 2016, the performance features not only Miranda in the title role but Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson, Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr, Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton and Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton.
Giving you an intimate front row look at the groundbreaking musical, Hamilton promises to further the musical’s commitment to break down barriers of access to theater. At a time when live theater remains but a faded memory, the kinetic taped performance of Miranda’s modern riff on a historical biopic is sure to make all of us yearn for a time when we get to see these vocal and dancing feats live once again.
