TRAILER: Pedro Pascal Is the World’s Worst Boss in Vampire Office Comedy ‘Bloodsucking Bastards’

Ever felt like your job was sucking the life out of you? Or that a talentless co-worker must have killed to get where he/she is? You’re not alone — and Bloodsucking Bastards will have you wondering if you’re actually right.

The dark comedy stars Fran Kranz as Evan, a sort of bloodless, corporate drone trying to make his way up the ladder. He sees his promotion (and office crush) slip through his fingers with the arrival of a tall, handsome, and definitely dark rival, Max (Pedro Pascal, the Game of Thrones fan fave and New Yorker by way of Chile).

Pascal’s Max threatens to terminate his staff if they don’t meet the million-dollar sales goal he’s set for them, and it would be bad enough to lose your job in this economy, but Max literally starts killing off his sales force. Don’t worry, it’s just to make them all vampires, like him! And it looks like he’ll be aided by the bewitching Zabeth (Yvette Yates, a Tejana with nerdly leanings).

Evan and Max build their own vampire/vampire slayer teams and eventually square off in a Fright Night meets Office Space showdown. The trailer just premiered on The Nerdist; check it out above.

Bloodsucking Bastards premieres at the Slamdance Film Festival in Park City, UT on January 23.
