For those Star Wars fans who were bummed out about not getting to show off their newest Storm Trooper or Princess Leia Halloween costumes this year because of the pandemic, maybe there is something else you can do that weekend.

The trailer for season two of the hit Disney+ series The Mandalorian was just released today (September 15) and has fired up fans across the galaxy–or at least the internet. Chilean actor Pedro Pascal returns to play the skilled title bounty hunter who has been tasked to care for a creature that viewers of the series lovingly refer to as Baby Yoda.

While the trailer keeps Mando’s face covered for the time being, Pascal devotees are hoping to get another look at him helmet-less like in season one. What viewers do get, however, are a handful of adorable shots of Baby Yoda (officially known as The Child), glancing around from inside his pod as Mando continues his journey through the star system to find the child’s home.

On their heels is Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), an imperial governor who wields a mythical lightsaber known as the Darksaber.

So, what can fans expect from season two of The Mandalorian? Will they find out how Moff Gideon attained the Darksaber? What more will be revealed about Baby Yoda’s origins? What is known is that Mexican American director Robert Rodriguez (Machete) is credited for at least one of the upcoming eight episodes. Also, Cuban/Puerto Rican American actress Rosario Dawson will make her debut on the series as a live-action version of the character Ahsoka Tano, who has only been seen in Star Wars animated projects.

With all these Latinos now in the Star Wars franchise, maybe Mandalorian creator Jon Favreau should triple down and reveal that Baby Yoda’s real name is Baby Yago and that the powerful energy field that provides him with mystical abilities is really called La Fuerza.

Season two of The Mandalorian premieres on Disney+ October 30.
