Bad Bunny had a blast riding shotgun and singing some of his favorite tunes during Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show with James Corden Tuesday night (March 14).

During the popular segment, Corden started the conversation off by asking Bad Bunny how he came up with his stage name. “My first concept of the artist I wanted to be was an artist that doesn’t reveal his identity,” he said. “I wanted to use a bunny mask.”

Bad Bunny tells Corden he “never wanted to be so famous,” but that when his career started skyrocketing, he just “went with the flow” and forgot about the mask idea. He added that he picked a bunny because “no matter how bad it is, it’s still looking cute.”

The first song Corden picked for the duo to sing was Bad Bunny and Jhay Cortez’s banger, “Dakiti,” from his’s 2020 album El Último Tour Del Mundo. The other songs that made up the playlist were “I Like It” by Cardi B, Bad Bunny and J Balvin; and “Tití Me Preguntó” from his 2022 album, Un Verano Sin Ti.

One of the other songs they dueted to was Ariana Grande’s “Break Free,” which Bad Bunny said he knew the lyrics to more than any other English-language song.

They also talked about his experience performing on top of a gas station in Puerto Rico and his love for drawing as a kid. Corden then pulled the vehicle over, so the two could draw portraits of one another. And later, they ended up inside a wrestling ring with WWE superstar Rey Mysterio. There, Bad Bunny attempted to give Corden some tips before he fought the Mexican wrestler.

Carpool Karaoke ended with them holding hands and singing Harry Styles’ “As It Was.” Not bad for a quick afternoon drive through Los Angeles if you ask us.
