Merry Bingemas to everyone! Hopefully, this holiday season, you’ll find yourself on Santa’s nice list – unlike the characters in the upcoming comedy It’s a Wonderful Binge, starring Eduardo Franco (Stranger Things) and Danny Trejo (Machete).

A sequel to the 2020 movie The Binge, the wild story follows along the same path as the original. The film is set in a world where all drugs and alcohol are illegal except on the day of the Binge. For whatever reason, this year, the Binge has been moved to Christmas Eve.

Franco reprises his role as Andrew, a young man who is trying to resolve his troubled relationships with his family and his girlfriend Kimmi (Marta Piekarz). In the first trailer for the movie, Trejo shows up playing a Christmas Carol-like ghost named Angel who reveals himself to Andrew after he falls off a bridge.

“Come with me if you want to binge,” Angel says, a play on the line that Michael Biehn does in 1984’s The Terminator and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day. “I’m going to show you what it would be like if you were never born.”

In Danny Trejo and Eduardo Franco’s scene in the trailer, the duo is transported to an idyllic setting in black and white where a family is sitting around a table sharing a meal and where everyone is enjoying each other’s company. “This is terrifying,” Andrew says.

The rest of the trailer is full of debauchery and naughty behavior that will likely earn a few people some coal in their Christmas stockings or a vision from Angel. We’re also going to guess that the “snow” Santa is dumping all over the Bingers is going to keep them up until Christmas morning.

It’s a Wonderful Binge premieres on Hulu on Friday, December 9, 2022.
