The trailer for J.Lo’s new Netflix documentary Halftime is out now and it is promising a detailed journey. The documentary is going to tell the story of J.Lo’s musical career while weaving in her life outside of the music industry. We will get to see her activism work and her life as a mother to her children. All of this is leading up to her halftime performance for the 2020 Super Bowl.

J.Lo shared the trailer release on Twitter and it is getting her fans hyped. For years, we have all watched J.Lo grow as an entertainer, philanthropist, mother, and media icon. Now, her fans get to see an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at everything the multi-hyphenate has done to create the career many love.

While the release of the documentary is still a little less than a month away, Tribeca Festival is already hyping up the new documentary.

“We’re thrilled to open with ‘HALFTIME,’ an inspirational documentary that spotlights Jennifer Lopez’s activism through her iconic Super Bowl halftime show,” Tribeca Festival Co-Founder and Tribeca Enterprises CEO Jane Rosenthal, told V Magazine. “We’re eager to premiere this beautiful exploration of J. Lo’s Latina culture and heritage at the United Palace, just blocks away from the Bronx.”

The Tribeca Festival has become one of the biggest festivals for films and leading the festival is definitely a great honor. Netflix’s new documentary Halftime is going to open the Tribeca Festival June 8 before premiering June 14 in the Bronx, J.Lo’s hometown.
