Oscar-nominated actress Salma Hayek (Frida) doesn’t let Ryan Reynolds enjoy any peace and quiet in the new teaser trailer for Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, the sequel to the 2017 action comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

A bit stressed out from working as a bodyguard, Michael Bryce (Reynolds) and his therapist decide that it’s probably a good idea for him to lay low and not do any bodyguarding work for a while. As he soaks up some sun on a beach and thinks about a new life, his vacation is cut short when Sonia (Hayek), the wife of Darius (Samuel L. Jackson), the hitman he was protecting in the first movie, makes a surprise visit.

“Vamonos, vamonos, vamonos!” Sonia yells at Michael as bullets fly across the beach resort. She then tells Michael that they must save her hitman husband. When Michael tries to explain that he is “under strict psychological orders” and cannot get involved, he quickly receives a slap to the face from Sonia who doesn’t have time to hear excuses.

The teaser trailer continues with a slower version of Britney Spears’ 1999 debut single “…Baby One More Time” as viewers watch Michael and Sonia riding on a motorcycle and being pursued by gun-toting villains before they both somehow end up in a cave with rising water.

Michael continues to tell Sonia that he can’t engage with anything dangerous. “That means no guns, no killing and no blood,” he says. Darius later laughs at him when he uses pepper spray instead of a gun to stop a bad guy trying to kill them.

Sonia, on the other hand, doesn’t have a problem with guns. Before the end of the trailer, she’s donning a platinum blonde wig and discharging a firearm to the beat of Spears’ song. She then tells Michael and Darius that she wants a baby. Oh, mama!
