WATCH: Selena Gomez Introduces A-List Cast Member to ‘Only Murders in the Building’ Season 3

Selena Gomez made a big announcement Tuesday (January 17) about the upcoming third season of her critically acclaimed Hulu series Only Murders in the Building.

Gomez posted a video on social media of her and co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short on the set of the series. “The gang is back,” Gomez said as she turned her camera around to show that guest star Andrea Martin, who plays Joy on the show, was in the room with them. Gomez then asked, “Could this honestly get any better?”

She then panned the camera to the other side of the room where Paul Rudd was sitting on the couch next to Martin. Rudd appeared in the last episode of season 2 where his character, an actor named Ben Gilroy, dies under mysterious circumstances. He’ll have a recurring role in season 3 as the main homicide victim. “Well, I do think it could get a little bit better,” Rudd said.

Then, suddenly, Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep pops up from behind the couch. “Steve, do you want a pillow,” Streep asks Martin as she puts a pillow behind his back for support. She then asks Short if he needs anything. “Just the tea that I had asked for half an hour ago,” he said.

It’s not like Only Murders in the Building didn’t already have a star-studded cast, but with Streep in the lineup, we’re at a whole new level.

Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building is currently filming and is expected to premiere sometime this year.
