Xochitl Gomez and her dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy’s Viennese Waltz to “Until I Found You” by Stephen Sanchez on Dancing With the Stars’ “Most Memorable Year Night” dazzled absolutely everyone, as the Marvel star got to live out the Quinceañera she never got on a national stage.

Not only that, she got to do it with one of the highest scores of the night, scoring a 28 out of 30, with one of the judges, Derek Hough, giving her and partner Val Chmerkovskiy their first 10 of the season.

“Most Memorable Year Night” is exactly what it sounds like, a night when celebrities get to perform a routine that celebrities a life-changing experience. In this case, one they did not get to have, as Gomez never had a quinceañera. Except, on October 24th, 2023, she kinda did, in front of America. And she nailed the Viennese Waltz during it, while wearing a very Quinceañera outfit and tiara, with her friends in the audience to celebrate her and with Chmerkovskiy as her partner.

On her Instagram, Gomez even shouted out her partner with a sweet caption that read “2021 the year I traded a childhood dream for the opportunity of a lifetime. Thank you @valentin for giving me the Quinceañera waltz I never got to have.” It included pictures of her and Chmerkovskiy dancing, but also pictures of her and her friends backstage, and of little Xochitl wearing a tiara.

Fans loved the performance and celebrated their high score by saying “ANOTHER FIRST 10, XOCHITL AND VAL!!!” and “LOVED LOVED LOVED Xochitl Gomez & @iamValC #MostMemorableYear dance. It’s a 10 from me”
