Alannah Keyser, a 21-year-old bombshell introduced on Love Island USA Season 8 at Casa Amor, is no longer at the villa.
Keyser was introduced during the Sunday, June 21st episode of the show. She was one of the many bombshells the men met in Casa Amor. And the film school student at the University of Southern California bonded with Zach. But that was all forgotten because in no time, racism allegations starting appearing on social media.
The internet being what it is, uncovered a video in which the Colombian-French contestant allegedly uses the N-word while singing along to a song. Sadly, that’s not all, as a screenshot of an Instagram comment allegedly posted by Alannah 98 weeks ago is also making the rounds. In that, she appears to use the N-word to spell “Nigerian.”
During the Thursday, June 25th episode Alannah appeared to be talking to Zach and sleeping with him when everyone went to bed. But after an ad break at the 20:25 minute mark, Love Island USA narrator Iain Stirling announced, “Alannah has left Casa Amor.” And that was it for the bombshell.
According to Deadline and other outlets like People, Peacock wasn’t aware of Alannah’s social media posts prior to casting her. And the speculation is that the videos were private until she appeared on the show, making it impossible for the show to vet her properly.
Love Island USA has removed multiple contestants for using racial slurs. Season 8 cast member Vasana Montgomery was dropped before the show premiered for a situation very similar to the one Alannah is being accused of. Yulissa Escobar was kicked off the villa in Season 7 after podcast clips of her using racial slurs resurfaced online. And also in Season 7, Cierra Ortega’s resurfaced anti-Asian posts led to her being booted from the villa.
New episodes of Love Island USA drop Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays on Peacock at 9 p.m. EST.
