When Does ‘Betty la Fea, La Historia Continúa’ Season 3 Premiere?

Betty La Fea is coming back! Betty La Fea: Más Fea Que Nunca (Betty La Fea: Uglier Than Ever) is returning to Prime Video with a revamped name and intro, as the show introduces us to a new chapter at Ecomoda. The streamer has announced that the season will premiere on August 28.
The first two seasons of the revival, titled Betty la Fea, La Historia Continúa, already broke records, with the show achieving the largest global viewership for any Latin American title in Prime Video history and becoming the most-watched local project ever in Colombia. The story continues where Yo soy Betty, la fea, ended, with Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello, returning in the roles of Betty and Armando.
Fernando Gaitán’s telenovela was a breakaway hit when it aired, from 1999 to 2001, and it even spawned a US TV series, starring America Ferrera. That show was called Ugly Betty.
The telenovela followed Beatriz Pinzón Solano, a brilliant economist working at the fashion firm Ecomoda, where she faces constant mocking for her looks and ends up falling for her boss, Armando. In the revival, Betty reunites with Armando, the husband she’s now estranged from, and she’ll have to contend with feelings that maybe never really died, their daughter, and a new crisis at Ecomoda.
Now, she’ll return to Bogotá for Hugo Lombardi’s farewell fashion show and really get on that improvement trend, this time starting therapy as she tries to navigate a plagiarism scandal at Ecomoda and an unexpected love triangle between Armando and Michel, her French ex.

The new season will once again feature Ana María Orozco and Jorge Enrique Abello as Betty and Armando, accompanied by the original cast, including the highly anticipated return of characters like El Cuartel de las Feas, Mario Calderón, Patricia Fernández, Nicolás Mora, Hugo Lombardi, Inés Ramírez, and Freddy Stewart, among others.
