Bad Bunny Will Voice a Pizza with Sunglasses in ‘Toy Story 5’

Bad Bunny is booked and busy! Amid his ongoing DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS Tour, it was just announced that the Puerto Rican star has a new acting role on deck: Pizza with Sunglasses (or Pizza con Gafas) in the upcoming Toy Story 5.
“¡vamos! @badbunnypr is Pizza with Sunglasses in #ToyStory5,” Pixar’s social media accounts announced earlier today (May 26).
Pizza With Sunglasses will be Benito’s first voice cameo in a major blockbuster movie. But it’s more than that. It’s also a full circle for the “DtMF” singer, who has been a longtime Toy Story fan. During the pandemic, the Boricua would post clips of himself playing with the iconic dolls for entertainment.
Fast forward to now, and he will make his debut in the Toy Story universe as the “effortlessly cool and mysterious” character. “Pizza with Sunglasses is a member of a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed,” per the official press release.
Bad Bunny isn’t the only Latine in the voice cast.
After winning hearts by playing young Glinda on Wicked: For Good, Puerto Rican actress Scarlett Spears revealed she will voice Bonnie Anderson in Toy Story 5. Moreover, with the news of Benito joining the voice cast, Pixar also released a final trailer. The new trailer showed the iconic toys like Jessie, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody against the film’s villain: a tablet named Lilypad. Towards the end of the trailer, Buzz Lightyear calls for backup to win Bonnie back.
