Irish-Puerto Rican actress Isabel Ferrer hasn’t been in Hollywood for long, but she’s already making a name for herself. The 24-year-old plays a younger version of Lily Bloom — Blake Lively’s character — in the movie It Ends With Us and has also appeared in Evil and Fire Burning. But why is Ferrer in the spotlight now, and what do we know about her?
The actress was born and raised in New York and grew up in the West Village. She studied acting and music and her Carnegie Mellon University bio identified her as Puerto Rican and Irish. It Ends With Us has been her biggest project to date, and she’s gained not just notoriety for it, but a close friendship with Lively.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ferrer said one of the best things about Lively was the fact that she treated Ferrer like an equal “You came up to me and you were like, ‘I want you to know that this role is just as much yours as it is mine,’” Ferrer said, recounting a conversation with Lively.
On February 19, Lively filed an amended complaint to her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, who also starred in It Ends with Us, alleging that two other actresses from the film were prepared to testify as to their own uncomfortable experiences with Justin Baldoni and his Wayfarer Studios partner Jamey Heath. The complaint did not identify the two actresses, but THR reported that they were Jenny Slate and Isabela Ferrer.

A spokesperson for Lively said, “Importantly, however, these victim-witnesses have given Ms. Lively permission to share their communications in the Amended Complaint as they are laid out, and they will testify and produce documents in the discovery process.” The text messages that constitute evidence were not filed, as to protect the two unnamed women from scrutiny.
In addition, there’s speculation surrounding Isabela Ferrer and her casting. Sources told Us Weekly that Taylor had no involvement in the casting of a young Lily Bloom. But then video receipts were brought up from the It Ends with Us tour of Baldoni and Lively confirming Swift’s involvement.
