Former WWE Divas Champions and WWE Hall of Famers Brie and Nikki Bella are adding to their post-wrestling resumes. The twin sisters have been named the hosts of a new Amazon dating reality series called Twin Love, which will debut this summer.
“What an incredible week it has been!” Nikki Bella wrote on social media. “So beyond grateful!!! Get to work with so many incredible people and companies! Thank you everyone for all your constant love and support!!! I just love what I do so much!”
As described by Deadline, “Twin Love is a social dating experiment that explores the love lives of identical twins.” During the series, 10 sets of twins will be separated into two different houses to create two identical casts. There, viewers will get a chance to see if each of the twins can find love in their respective houses and if they end up choosing the same identical partner.
“Twin Love is a social dating experience like no other, blending the specificity of being a twin –someone born, quite literally, with a biological soulmate – with the universality of being single and searching for lasting romantic love,” Lauren Anderson, head of AVOD Original Content and Unscripted Programming at Amazon Studios, told Deadline.
Brie and Nikki Bella, who are of Mexican and Italian descent, are not strangers to the reality show world. They starred together in two hit series for E! – Total Divas and Total Bellas. Total Divas ran for nine seasons from 2013 to 2019 and followed the lives of women wrestlers in the WWE. Total Bellas ran for six seasons from 2016 to 2021 with the Bella Twins at the center of their own reality show.
