Before announcing Xochitl Gomez as the winner of this season’s Dancing with the Stars competition Tuesday night (December 5), another revelation came from co-host Alfonso Ribeiro about the upcoming Dancing with the Stars Live 2024 tour.
Ribeiro revealed that Gomez will join the tour in select cities. The tour will kick off on January 11, 2024, at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia. That’s also when Gomez will start her leg of the tour, which includes stops for her in 22 cities in the U.S. and Canada.
“With dazzling routines in every style, jaw-dropping talent, and non-stop entertainment, it’s sure to be an unforgettable night full of all the magic of the TV show and more,” reads the tour’s official website.
Some of the U.S. cities where Gomez will perform as a special guest in January and February include Boston, Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Williamsport. Her final performance will be on February 4, 2024, at MGM Northfield Park – Center Stage in Northfield, Ohio.
Also participating in the tour during the same time as Gomez is her DWTS partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Based on how other DWTS tours have worked in the past, we’re sure Gomez and Chmerkovskiy will revisit some of their most exciting dances during season 32.
Let’s hope some of the performances where they earned perfect scores will be on the docket, including their tango to Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” and their waltz to Lady Gaga’s “La Vie en rose.”
Other special guests during the 2024 tour are Julianna Hough, Charity Lawson and Harry Jowsey.
