Did you know the flavorful essence of Pollo Campero’s chicken is conveniently packaged in bag chip form? Central American Twitter made sure to spread the good news last week.
Pollo Campero is a popular food chain from Guatemala that was birthed in 1971. Since then, they’ve expanded to hundreds of stores in Latin America and beyond, including more than 70 locations across the United States. It was, and remains, a family-owned business that prides itself in serving chicken with a “one-of-a-kind texture and taste.”
The chip flavor, on the other hand, has only been in stores since 2015.
According to Forbes, whipping up the perfect taste and launch plan took about a year and a half. It will only be available in stores for a limited time – specifically from August to December 2019.
