A lot of stuff happened in 2013: Hugo Chavez lost his battle with cancer, Brazil stunned the world with massive protests, Latinos made strides at the box office with “Instructions Not Included” (now the highest-grossing Spanish language film in North America), and Julian Assange camped out in the Ecuadorian embassy. And that’s just the stuff that we can think of off the top of our heads.

2013’s not over yet – and who knows what else might go down before the year is through. Still, it’s never too early to start planning for your holiday/New Year’s eve festivities. From parties to concerts to dinners to open bars and comedy – and everything in between – we’re compiling the best events to close out 2013 and ring in 2014.  For easy browsing, we’ve divided our guide by dinners, concerts and parties – but if you’re looking for more specific information (say, which events will have champagne, or which ones are for your broke budget) then click on the hashtags below!

And this is just the beginning…. be sure to CHECK BACK DAILY, as we’ll be updating the information as people’s plans are solidified. Do you know of an event we’re missing? Help us out and send the info to nye@remezcla.com!
