We love restaurant week because for a few meals, we can pretend to be to be culinary masters or judges on Top Chef without breaking the bank and knowing what amuse bouche really means. DineLA kicked off January 20th and runs till January 31st all over Los Angeles, Santa Monica and neighboring hoods with well over 150 restaurants participating. So we took it upon ourselves to drool over prix-fixe menus and choose the best of the best, just for you. You can scope out the extensive list HERE.

Acclaimed Chef-owner Richard Sandoval marries Latin and Asian cuisine at Zengo. Paired with the bright, contemporary setting, the DineLA menu has Thai chicken empanadas served with chile poblano, oaxaca cheese and mango curry sauce. Entrees sound just as delicious with ancho rubbed beef short ribs served with manchengo cheese potato puree, mushrooms, dragon sauce and huitalocoche.
