We’re excited to report that a new addition is coming to the sparsely populated latin food scene in Tribeca. With an interior reminiscent of the authentic Cuban diners that dot South Beach, Los Americanos offers a menu to satisfy cravings from all over the Latin-American spectrum: Mexican Tacos al Pastor, Salvadorian pupusas, Venezuelan arepas, Peruvian papas a la huancaina, Cuban sandwiches, etc.

The restaurant is helmed by Chef Alan Rodriguez, who hails from Northern Mexico and cut his teeth in the restaurant business in Boston, where he opened Mexican eatery El Centro.

According to their website, Los Americanos serves: “Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Late Night” – so it looks like we’ll finally have a place to get some wee-hours empanadas after we’re done destroying the bar at the Tribeca Grand.

Los Americanos opens this Thursday, and is located at 305 Church Street, NYC, NY 10013.
