Marco Antonio Solís is entering the world of tequila with the release of his new endeavor: Tesoro Azul. It is the latest project taken on by the famed singer after the opening of Mansión Solís, a hotel in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico.
Solís unveiled his new tequila at the Cabañas Cultural Institute on March 9.
El Buki was inspired to create a good tequila after spending time in Italy recording a music video. While there, he ordered tequila during an outing, and, according to BandaMax, he says they brought him turpentine.
Now, the musician is on a mission to provide good tequila to the farthest reaches so everyone can have a little bit of tequila no matter where they are in the world.
“Music and passion go hand in hand and in Mexican music, tequila is always present,” Solís said in Spanish at the event, according to BandaMax.
He credits his wife, Cristian Solís, for making the tequila brand a reality. Without her, Marco implies, the tequila would not be gracing the world as quickly as it did.
If you are a fan of Marco Antonio Solís, you’ll have a chance to try the tequila at one of his shows. The musician announced that he would be offering Tesoro Azul at his concerts starting April 16, 2022, at Foro de las Estrellas at the Feria de Aguascalientes.
Several celebrities have tried their hand in the tequila market in recent years to varying successes, including Eva Longoria and Luis Gerardo Méndez.
