Mariah Carey is the undisputed Queen of Christmas and in addition to her music, she’s now bringing Christmas cheer with a virtual delivery-only cookie line–Mariah’s Cookies. She’s partnered with Virtual Dining Concepts, and restaurateur Robert Earl to create a collection of cookies featuring classic and seasonal flavors that exist virtually meaning local restaurants can license it. Expect to see classics like triple chocolate chunk and spiced oatmeal raisin as well as holiday favorites like pumpkin and gingerbread cookies.
“Mariah and I have chatted over the years about working together on a food business and, with her love of baking, cookies were a natural fit. As Mariah is synonymous with the holidays and celebration, we will make sure that her special holiday flavors are available not only for the holidays but year-round,” Robert Earl, co-founder of Virtual Dining Concepts, said in a statement.
The line officially launches nationwide on Dec. 4 to coincide with National Cookie Day, in cities from Los Angeles to New York including Chicago, Phoenix, Denver, and Dallas. Some of the cookie box-sets available include Mimi’s Mix Box (a variety of her favorites), the Holiday Hits Box with gingerbread, white chocolate cranberry and pumpkin, and the Try Them All box. So you can snuggle up on the couch Mariah-approved cookies while tuning into her Christmas special also out Dec. 4, “Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special,” on Apple TV Plus with special guests including Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Snoop Dogg. From the airwaves to TV to now kitchens across the U.S., she’s dominating the holidays and giving Americans a much-needed dose of Christmas spirit in a year that makes Scrooge a sympathetic character.
“I do live from Christmas to Christmas; it’s the only thing I look forward to every year. Well, it’s not the only thing…but it’s truly the best time of year for me,” she recently told Elle.
