Alright, y’all, how many of you have actually been keeping up with that “going to be healthy for 2013” resolution? If your answer is no, fear not, because we’ve found a new spot in Miami that can help you with the healthy eating part AND you get to try something unique and delicious while you’re at it.

I know, you can usually find the most bizarre fruits and vegetables from South America at your local Sedano’s, on the street corners in Hialeah, or in your abuela’s backyard, but they’re usually not all in one, easy-to-order, spot. You can bypass all that mess and go straight to Ten Fruits, the new juice bar specializing in South American herbs, nuts and fruits, opening in Downtown Miami.

Ten Fruits will be serving fresh fruit extractions, house made frozen yogurts (made by co-owner Alexander Vazquez), gapazchos, juices and acai berry bowls all day long. The partners originally operated burger shops in Canada, but were sick and tired of serving greasy, fatty foods. So Vazquez started making the yogurts, and David Polinksy (who studied fruit handling and processing at University of Peru in Lima) got creative with his recipes, including acai berries, maca, quinoa, and hemp protein.

Today is their opening, so you can swing by from here on out anytime between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30p.m. to get your fresh and healthy fix.
