Owned by a husband and wife team from the Yucatán, this restaurant serves Spanish-Mayan fusion, including it’s namesake dish – a platter of thin-sliced pork, simultaneously crispy and chewy, draped around a mound of lightly dressed cabbage and steaming expanse of buttery rice. For Thanksgiving they offer the classics with a twist, including relleno negro and turkey braised in black mole. Open till 6pm.

This homey restaurant will be turning out a three-course prix fixe menu featuring dishes such as a roasted Willy Bird turkey with cornbread stuffing, root vegetables and shallot-thyme gravy (1-8:15 PM, $59 for adults, $25 for kids under 12)

If you can brave the touristy area of Fisherman’s Wharf, Mangos offers a Mexican Inspired Thanksgiving, featuring Chipotle rubbed roasted turkey, chili cheese casserole, brussels sprouts and chorizo, pumpkin fiesta rice and dessert.
