The end of October is especially eventful in the Remezcla office because we have not one, but TWO skull-filled, death-themed reasons to celebrate: Halloween and Dia de Muertos. We want you to have a bloody good time, so we’ve rounded up the best monster mashes, concerts, pop-up raves and more to check out this year. (And don’t forget our favorite Halloween activity of all – waking up early the next day to watch the best Walks of Shame you’ll see all year…)

MoMA PopRally Presents Hood by Air: Id, Oct 30 at 8:00pm

Ok technically this isn’t a Halloween event, but Hood by Air’s conceptual looks and subversion of gender, power, class and beauty norms kinda vibes with Halloween’s anything goes sartorial ethos. The frequent Venus X collaborator has established himself as a fashion force in his own right, and his eccentric team will be hosting a party/live multimedia installation called Id at the Museum of Modern Art, inviting everyone who’s 21+ and in-the-know to a novel experience that was once limited to the runway.
