Raíces al Alba

Regina Davis Izaguirre taught herself how to paint but she has the hand and talent of an old master painter. She paints soft pink roses, includes astrological elements, and uses the deep shadows of a Rembrandt painting. The technique in her oil paintings also have medieval influences and hints of hidden philosophical details. Plus, they’re just absolutely stunning. The opening reception of an exhibit of paintings by Regina Davis Izaguirre will be this Tuesday, December 2nd at the Mexican restaurant Crema in Chelsea. The reception and happy hour will be from 6 to 9pm.
