#DrawingWhileBlack, a hashtag that has taken over Twitter, is a treasure trove. Started last year by Annabelle Hayford, a 19-year-old agender artist studying animation and illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art, the hashtag encourages Black artists to share their work. Though the hashtag made waves last year, it’s back again in the midst of Black History Month, and it’s reaching all corners of the world, making it an important tool to discovering and supporting Black talent.
We’ve scoured the hashtag and found 10 Afro-Latino artists that you should back. Check their work out below.
