Turkey often gets a bad rap. Between many calling it flavorless and dry, turkey is a much maligned member of the poultry family. And while there are several suggestions on how to prepare turkey well (may we suggest Salvadoran-style?), there is also a lot of bad advice on the internet. And sometimes we can’t tell in which camp a recipe stands.

Reynolds Kitchen posted a recipe that called for the turkey to be covered by Flamin’ Hot Cheeto dust. In a post titled “Hot Turkey in an Oven Bag,” the company walks audiences through the eight-step cooking process. And while you may have a visceral reaction to seeing the Cheeto-coated turkey, it seems the internet is pretty split.
