If you and your boo like to dress up in matching costumes come Halloween, you may find that picking a theme is tricky, especially if you want to find a way to capture big moments in Latino pop culture. Luckily for you, we’ve done all the heavy lifting and have found four couples costumes for this year. Our picks are either classics, reference big moments in pop culture, or fall somewhere in between.

Check out the costumes ideas and learn how you can get the looks below.

1

Flaritza

In the latest season of Orange Is the New Black, we didn’t get any of BFFs Flaritza. Relive the good times by dressing up as Litchfield’s most dynamic duo.

Get their look with tan scrubs, a white T-shirt to wear beneath, and of course, eyeliner.

2

Tato and Beto

Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna are obviously not a couple – especially not in Rudo y Cursi, where they play half brothers – but the two are a package deal, so if you’re going to channel them this Halloween, then might as well look to some of the most iconic on-screen outfits.

For Gael’s Tato, your focus should be on accessorizing. Go for a gray tie, a cowboy hat, and a big belt buckle. For Diego’s Beto, lean into the ruffle tuxedo shirt and mahogany-colored pants.

3

J.Lo and Arod

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have showed us different aspects of their relationship over the last year, which have made us invested in them as a couple. While it’s hard to come up with an iconic photo for both, you can let people know who you are by channeling some of their most individual famed looks.

For J.Lo, try her 2000 VMA outfit. That year, she wore a white bandana, white pants, and a white crop top. For A Rod, you can’t go wrong with a Yankees jersey and matching gray pants.

4

Bruno Mars and Cardi B

For their “Finesse” music video, Cardi B and Bruno Mars paid tribute to In Living Color and the ’90s. And while that’s a fun outfit to pull off, it requires a lot of different pieces, so we suggest something less complicated in a similar vein: their looks for the Grammys.

Cardi wore a rainbow-colored two-piece and a jean bucket hat. Bruno performed in track pants and a white hoodie.
