We typically think of Latinos (excluding those who trace their roots back to Brazil, of course) as either having full command of Spanish or not being able to speak the Spanish. But sometimes, we’re more in the middle: We know the language well and we may even consider ourselves fluent, but we still have our weaknesses. Whether that means we can’t read it perfectly or don’t have any idea where the accents go, we have a hard time with parts of the language, which can make for some frustrating (and sometimes hilarious) experiences.
