Nadia Ferreira is first and foremost, more than just Marc Anthony’s girlfriend. She is a 22-year-old Paraguayan fashion model, who was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay 2021. She represented her country at Miss Universe 2021 where she finished first runner-up in one of the hardest competitions in the world.
Before landing the prestigious Miss Paraguay crown, she modeled for Custo Barcelona at New York Fashion Week and has appeared in several national and international publications such as Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, and L’Officiel; proving that she is sought after and talented.

Ferreira is a social activist who wants to change the lives of women. To do that she created NF (Nadia Ferreira), an organization for women who have experienced domestic violence and who are now seeking a way to move forward with their lives in a sustainable way.
Helping the Community
Ferreira has worked on several aid programs that focus on improving the quality of life of the Guaraní people. One of these endeavors is the “VICTORIA” project, which provides free breast reconstruction for women who are survivors of breast cancer. Another is the “LATENTE” project, which helps women who have been denied their personal liberties.
Ferreira is a polyglot. That means she is a person who knows and uses several different languages. Ferreira is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Guaraní, the native language of Paraguay.

When Ferreira was younger, she was a member of the Girl Scouts; a community organization to help build community, teach life skills, and more. She said the experience gave her strength and courage, and provided her with leadership skills. “I have a nostalgia for all those moments,” she said.
Overcoming Health Obstacles
When Ferreira was a child she was diagnosed with Susac syndrome, a rare disorder that affects brain function, vision, and hearing. Normally, the condition resolves itself in 1-3 years. According to Ferreira, she lost her vision, hearing, and mobility on the left side of her body for about 18 months.
