The last time Rihanna was in Cuba, the internet went wild. Three years ago, Rih arrived in the Caribbean country to shoot the cover of Vanity Fair. Last week, the Barbadian singer, actress, and makeup mogul was spotted back in Cuba, this time with Childish Gambino – aka Donald Glover – and the internet is once again freaking out.

After local Cuban outlets shared images of Rihanna and Donald hanging out for a project reportedly titled Guava Island. Hiro Murai, the director behind Death Cab for Cutie’s “Crooked Teeth” and A Tribe Called Quest’s “Dis Generation” – is supposedly tied to Island. Murai has frequently collaborated with Glover, including by directing “This Is America” and more than a dozen episodes of Atlanta.

Vistar, a local magazine in Cuba, has called Guava Island a movie musical that will also star Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright and Nonso Anozie. Rihanna supposedly plays a seamstress, and the cast has been seen shooting in different locations in Havana, particularly a textile factory in Alamar.

On his own time, CG has taken in the sights in Cuba. He was seen exploring the Fábrica de Arte Cubano.

But as details remains sparse about this project, people have taken to speculating about what Rih and Childish Gambino could be up to. Here are some of the best theories:
