Every year, millions of people across the United States celebrate Thanksgiving with their families; it’s a day of reflection (though it should be noted that the holiday has some very dark, often-romanticized beginnings), community, and a lot of food. Many of us go wild the next day, aka Black Friday, a day designed to part you from a lot of your hard-earned cash and give you a head start on all of your holiday shopping before the end of the year. But some are instead opting to give their money to small businesses on Small Business Saturday.

While your Best Buys, and your Targets, and your Amazons will all be supplying the high-profile deals, it’s a good time to support smaller independent shops, which occasionally drop their prices in tandem with the big chains. Sure, you could get your Amazon package the same day, but wouldn’t supporting a small online marketplace feel even better than all the turkey you stuffed yourself with?

With that in mind, we scoured the Latinternet to find Latinx-run online stores. From handmade notebooks to vegan beauty products, these are gifts that will likely be appreciated more than a video game or overpriced wine rack. So this holiday season, shop Latinx, and bask in the afterglow of your sensible consumerism.
