For several years, Memo Ochoa has been a darling of the soccer world. His defined curls and perfectly sculpted eyebrows have captured the souls of fans around the world. Oh, and he is a great goalkeeper, too.
But we’ve never seen Ochoa quite like this. The Mexican goalie cut his famous curls recently, leaving behind a slick cut that has people thirsting all over social media. Fans are shocked to find that underneath Ochoa’s magnificent and glorious curls was an even better looking face. Although the 33-year-old soccer player often used bandanas to keep his curls out the way during matches, it’s quite different now that his jawline is front and center.
Even Ochoa is feeling himself, posting a photo of his new cut on Instagram with the caption #NoMemoNoParty. Fans quickly weighed in on the new look, mostly to say the goalie is even more handsome now. Others were a bit sad to see his iconic curls go.
Although the World Cup is over, we can still get plenty of Memo with Belgian club Standard Liège. We love Memo regardless of whether he has curls or straight hair, but we did notice that people are really into this new look. Below, check out the thirstiest tweets we’ve seen so far.
