Miss Universe 2024 is almost here. The event, which will be held on November 16 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, will crown a new beauty queen from the pool of around 130 participating countries, the largest number in the pageant’s history. But before Sheynnis Palacios crowns her successor, there is a selection committee tasked with the difficult decision of who will become the next Miss Universe.
Miss Universe 2024 will see Catriona Gay, Miss Universe 2018, return as the pageant’s commentator. Actor Mario Lopez will serve as the pageant host. Meanwhile, R’bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe 2022 is set to join the Voice for Change judging panel, which includes Ana Bárbara Coimbra, Dr. Juan Manuel Chaparro González, Janick Maceta, Karla Guilfu, Paweensuda Drouin, and Sophiya Bhujel.
This year’s contest is the first since the age requirement was lifted, which means women older than 28 can compete for the first time. The pageant’s 73rd edition will be broadcast live in Spanish exclusively on Telemundo. It will also broadcast on USA Network.
