The 2021 Emmys took place last night, and as always, celebrities came out in style. From Anya Taylor-Joy’s yellow gown to America Ferrera looking like a vision in purple, and Rosie Perez literally shimmering in a very intricate gold design, there were many standouts in the red carpet. And even though the representation on the actual show left a lot to be desired, the looks very much didn’t. Here are some of the best-dressed celebrities on the Emmy’s red carpet, with some honorary mentions at the end.
Rodriguez, who delivered a stand-out performance on Pose the likes of which we’ll be talking about for years to come, looked stunning in Atelier Versace and Bulgari jewelry.
Nominated for The Queen’s Gambit, which went on to win Best Limited Series, Anthology or TV Movie, Taylor-Joy wore Dior Haute Couture and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Perez, who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her role in The Flight Attendant, was a vision in a gold Pamella Roland gown.
A vision in purple, Ferrera accessorized her seemingly simple but actually stunning look with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Jennifer Meyer jewelry. She was there to present the award for Best Directing in a Drama Series.
Clad in head-to-toe Tom Ford, as he himself shared on Twitter, Canals was there to celebrate Pose, and though his show didn’t get the love it should have gotten, Canals and the team behind it are winners in our eyes.
Clad in Christian Siriano, Hannah Waddingham certainly made an impression during the Emmys, where she took on the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Ted Lasso.
Wiley, who coordinated polka-dot-esque outfits with her wife, Lauren Morelli, wore a Genny tailored pantsuit. She was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for The Handmaid’s Tale.
