After the success of Season 1, La Isla: Desafío Extremo is coming back to Telemundo, this time with 18 celebrities, personalities, and adventurers. But what are they doing, and what’s the prize? Well, in the show, contestants are divided into teams and face physical and mental survival challenges while battling to survive in changing conditions and win the $200,000 prize. Think Survivor, but way more unpredictable.
Because on that show, which popularized survival reality TV shows, it’s just about endurance. In La Isla: Desafío Extremo, it’s about adapting to changing circumstances while playing the political game and remembering that although much of the show is played in teams, the battle for the final prize is an individual one. Expect drama, alliances, and betrayals, just what fans of reality TV want.
