Must-Try Cocktails for National Margarita Day

header-list---

As everyone is still settling down fromValentine’s Day, Galentine’s parties, and nonstop, but justified talks ofBad Bunny’s Halftime Show, aka the “Benito Bowl,” there’s still one more reason to raise a glass before February calls it quits. Every year on February 22, those who choose to celebrate honor National Margarita Day—a tribute to one of the most iconic tequila-based drinks.

This year is on a Sunday, serving as a perfect way to deal with the scaries or blues of the weekend ending if you’re 21 and over. It could also serve as a way to cope with what may feel like an endless winter, teasing and hoping for the spring to come, and it’s also another excuse to gather with friends and loved ones. Whether you’re hosting a last-minute happy hour or going to a local bar, a margarita in hand makes it feel official.

With Pisces season officially underway, those born under the water sign are stepping into their birthday era, and what better way to do it than with salt, sugar, or Tajin rimmed glass, a splash of citrus, and whatever flavor you like. Whether your birthday falls on the day, before, or a couple of days after, or you’re celebrating all month, these cocktails are a must-have.

So as we close out the shortest month of the year, trade the leftover chocolate for a good margarita and celebrate the day or beyond with these cocktails. Drink responsibly and enjoy!
