The world has been patiently waiting for the birth of Cardi B and Offset’s first child, and with every passing day, we’re getting closer to meeting Baby Bardi. To celebrate the occasion, Belcalis Almanzar hosted a Bronx Fairytale baby shower in Atlanta earlier this week (what else would you expect from the regular shmegular degular girl from the Bronx?).

According to Vogue, the lavish celebration featured pastel pink replicas of 6 train subway cars, a baby bodega stocked with diapers and bottles, and even a library filled with books written by authors of color, centered on the experiences of black and Latina girls. Guests were encouraged to write a wish or note for Baby Bardi in the books showcased in the library. Vogue also reports that the event included a total of 26,000 flowers, as well as a 16-foot installation.

True to form, the baby shower started on island time, at 9 p.m. As Cardi told Rolling Stone earlier this month, “My baby shower’s not starting at no 5:00. My shit is going to start at 9 p.m. because that’s how I celebrate, that’s how Caribbean people celebrate,” she said.
