Ready or not, it’s Capricorn season! Frequently known as ambitious, confident, and hardworking, we’re continuing our monthly listicle with Capricorns, which approximately runs from Dec. 22 to Jan. 19. Let’s end 2025 and start the new year with our beloved Capricorns before celebrating their other Earth signs throughout the year, shall we?

Our Latine industry is full of Capricorns who have left their mark in one way or another. Last year, we highlighted favorites like Rauw Alejandro, Ricky Martin, and Juan Gabriel. This year, we’re spotlighting more great artists, like Spanish-Venezuelan artist Judeline, Mexican reggaetonero El Bogueto, and Mexican experimental artist Bruses. We are also shouting out Dominican-Mexican singer-songwriter Ambar Lucid, Afro-Mexican singer Immasoul, Bomba Estéreo’s Li Saumet, and Dominican rapper Arcángel, who all share the same sea goat symbol.

Though the aforementioned artists might sing in different genres, what remains the same is their undeniable Capricorn energy. All of these artists demonstrate their Zodiac signs’ traits—especially being ambitious by constantly taking their music to the next level. Take El Bogueto’s upcoming collaboration with Ximena Sariñana or Saumet’s innovative side project Astropical with Rawayana’s vocalist Beto Montenegro, for example. Each of the projects demonstrates a Cap’s willingness to innovate and make things happen for themselves. They’re called “doers” for a reason, right?

From Judeline’s collaboration with Amaia to Arcángel’s out-of-the-box junte with Grupo Firme, here are seven songs that commemorate these music juggernauts on their birthday month.

And for any Cap reading this: Happy birthday!

Judeline – “com você”

Judeline’s rise to stardom is one to be studied. To date, this Cap has accumulated over three million monthly listeners on Spotify thanks to her bangers, including her collaboration with Tainy and Kris Floyd “si preguntas por mi,” the rusowsky-assisted track “Heavenly,” and “mangata.” Moreover, her music repertoire reflects her Zodiac’s ambitious and hardworking energy with genre-bending tracks that go beyond pop, bossa nova, experimental, funk carioca, and electro-pop elements. In “com você,” featuring Spanish singer-songwriter Amaia, she showcases a sensual side with lyrics like “Envuélveme / Sácame de aquí, llévame / Que vas a quedarte y no te vas, prométeme.” “com você” is part of her recent VERANO SAUDADE EP.

El Bogueto – “NENA MOXITA”

Born on Dec. 27, the Mexican reggaetonero is blowing out his candles this season. By flashing his gym body and jewelry, El Bo shows off his confidence and hardworking discipline at the gym—two traits that align with his Zodiac sign. But he’s not all looks. His Capricorn traits also show in the way he pushes his music into new directions and audiences. Recently, he teased the aforementioned collaboration featuring Sariñana’s classic 2002 hit “Cuento.” As surprising as it may have been for El Bogueto’s reggaeton fans and Sariñana’s loyal supporters, the joint track encapsulates a Capricorn’s way of pushing boundaries. Though we have yet to hear the collab’s final streaming result, we can jam to “NENA MOXITA” featuring Yeri Mua for now.

Bruses – “APAGUEN ESTE RUIDO!”

Tijuana native Bruses will celebrate her birthday on Jan. 12. Known for her popular hits such as “Dueles Tan Bien,” “bestia” with Humbe, and “Una noche más” with Walls, the Mexican singer has garnered over one million monthly listeners on Spotify. But perhaps what makes Bruses known for her sign’s hardworking ethic is the way she works through heartbreak. It’s no secret that her latest album’s songs like “ME ESTOY RINDIENDO am0r :(” embody emotional numbness and question love after death, showing that she pushes through hardships to create art. On “APAGUEN ESTE RUIDO!,” she showcases her sign’s ambitious knack for exploring new sonic routes, this time leaning into experimental electronic and pop elements, all while criticizing the world’s current political climate.

Ambar Lucid – “Moving Mountains”

Born on Jan. 2, Ambar Lucid is another Capricorn who is ringing in the new year with a birthday. Ambar’s creativity shines with her alter egos, ethereal music videos, and personal songs. She’s also an artist who aligns with her Capricorn qualities. “I love being grounded, or at least having the ability to be more grounded,” she said when asked about what she loves the most about being a Capricorn. “I love the bad bi**h energy that comes with being a Capricorn. And I just really enjoy and love that my star sign is an earth sign.” Recently, the El Jardín de Lágrimas singer revealed she has new music coming our way, so we’ll keep an eye out for what she has in store for 2026.

Immasoul – “Glory”

Mexican R&B and Afrobeats singer Immasoul is celebrating another year around the sun this season. Known for her songs like “Acércate” with Beruti, “Destino,” and “Dejarte Ir,” the singer-songwriter is always on the grind. But 2025 was perhaps her most ambitious year yet, dropping her newest album, PISTOLA, which includes genres she’s never sung before. “For me, this album was a turning point. My creative freedom: bachata tumbada, trap, R&B, my first perreo and regional were everything and more…” she wrote online in Spanish. “This album was my process. My mourning. A fire. I don’t make music for relevance. I make it when life hits me. And this… hit me.” Post-PISTOLA, she’s back with her newest collaboration, “Glory” featuring Jeanki.

Li Saumet – “La Samaria”

Colombian singer Saumet—who’s also part of Bomba Estéreo and Astropical—celebrates her birthday on Jan. 18. Many people may know her for her hits like “Ojitos Lindos,” “Soy Yo,” and “To My Love,” but did you know she’s also into astrology? In fact, Astropical’s album features songs with Zodiac signs in the title. It’s what Astropical is all about. “Aquarians are beings that move me deeply because I am a Capricorn and I am earth, I am always working, working, and I have many ideas,” she said in an interview about her Astropical’s partner Montenegro. “But he takes my ideas and complements them. When that comes together, it creates a wonderful blend.” A hardworking Capricorn? Sounds about right.

Arcángel – “Cuánto Cuesta”

Like many hardworking Capricorns out there, it feels like Arcángel is always booked and busy. Whether he’s supporting his colleagues as surprise guests in their shows or expanding his repertoire with new types of sounds, the Dominican rapper is always on the grind. His newest conquest? Música mexicana. He recently dropped his new collaboration “Cuánto Cuesta” with Grupo Firme. The new joint track features a hard-hitting requinto as the Mexican and Dominican vocalists trade verses about wishing to forget a past lover. In this new modern banda-forward sound, Arcángel features more croons than ever before, matching the song’s heartbreaking sentiment.
