In soccer, there is a lot of tragic, funny, and weird hair choices. With the sport becoming more fashionable, hairstyles have followed suit and become more ostentatious. Ahead of Mexico’s match against heavily favored Brazil, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández and Miguel Layún decided to dye their hair bleach blond. As soon as the game started, Chicharito’s and Layún’s hair quickly became a topic of conversation, with some cracking jokes about how they now resemble Andrés Manuel López Obrador to others vowing to dye their hair the same shade of nearly white if El Tri wins. There were also a lot of “Super Saiyan” jokes, because well look at how bright it is. Regardless of whether negative or positive, people had lots of thoughts about the new hair. Check out a few below.

Ya se planteó la posibilidad de que Chicharito y Layún se hayan pintado el pelo como el Peje para ganarle a Brasil con 53%? 🧓🏼 pic.twitter.com/YZ544GiXqY
