Southside, the head of 808 Mafia—the production team that originated around Wacka Flocka Flame and is responsible for hits by artists like Gucci Mane, Future, Drake, Migos and many other trap staples—has accused Lil’ Pump and Anuel AA of stealing the beat he produced in 2017 for Migos’ “Too Hotty” on Anuel and Lil Pump’s recent collab, “Illuminati.” The track, which was produced byEZ El Ezeta & Prida, and was released two weeks ago, and continues Lil’ Pump’s recent trend of collaborating with Spanish-Language artists, as he recently did with El Alfa on the “Coronao Now” remix.

On Wednesday night, Southside posted a side-by-side comparison of the two videos on his Instagram account, with the caption,” Please tell me what’s going on here this definitely is a total copy and remake of my beat 😭😭😭.”

There’s definitely a stunning similarity between the two beats, but we’ll let you take a look for yourself.

There’s yet to be any statement from Anuel, Lil’ Pump or EZ El Ezeta & Prida’s respective camps, but we’ll be sure to update the story when there is.
