We’ve all heard countless stories of Bill Murray entertaining himself, and others by engaging in silly and sometimes wild behavior, but it seems as though Outkast rapper André 3000 is ready to start giving Murray a run for his money. On Friday, Latino USA journalist Antonia Cereijido spotted a man she thought looked like 3 Stacks playing the flute at her airport terminal for over 40 minutes. Eventually, she realized it really was him, and approached him for a selfie. She tweeted about the encounter: “I saw a man walking around my terminal playing a flute for 40min and was losing my mind because I thought it was André 3000. And then it WAS André 3000!!! ”

Of course, it wouldn’t be a viral tweet without droves of people chiming in to explain that it wasn’t actually a flute he was playing. But Cereijido, who is a producer on popular Latino radio show and podcast Latino USA, is no stranger to research, and later tweeted:
“For everyone saying it’s not a flute – I specifically asked him and he said it’s a double flute”
And she even went as far as to track down the maker of the Mayan double flute – Guillermo Martinez, whose shop Quetzalcoatlmusic.org specializes in keeping indigenous instruments alive.
I just got off the phone with Guillermo Martinez the man who made Andres's beautiful flute. It's a Mayan double flute. He and his shop are doing incredible work by keeping the music if indigenous North American communities alive. Here is his website: https://t.co/Jgb9lbGsqh pic.twitter.com/33PESaDu9C

Hopefully we can expect an upcoming Latino USA episode on Mayan Flutes?
