I’m not 100% sure that this video is officially the last for Mexico/Paris-based Andrea Balency Trio, but it seems so considering the imagery. In it, a lone Balency appears despondent as she walks alone through the streets of Paris and London. The rest of the trio, Mike Sandoval and Jerson Vazquez, are nowhere to be seen.
The black & white melancholic video is the second single and title-track off the group’s EP, which is available for free. The trio also announced last year that it would be their last collaboration as Andrea Balency Trio and the leading singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist lady would continue working as a solo artist.
I hate to describe all this as “bittersweet” but, as cliché as it sounds, it still rings true.
