Following Bad Bunny’s Instagram story photo spam with Arcángel, the two prominent artists dropped their newest collaboration. Yes, the day-one duo is back together again for the unexpected track “La Jumpa.” The result? A rhythmic trap-infused and rave-ready bop that’s already on repeat.

“To all the people who have been listening to me all year long… THANK YOU!!!!” Bad Bunny wrote on Twitter. “I LEAVE YOU HERE A GIFT WITH ARCANGEL LA FKN MARAVILLA.”

Bad Bunny does not stop. Even on his most ambitious ongoing tour, he’s simultaneously working on new music. This time, the producers in charge of the duo’s latest track were MAG and JULia LEWiS. “It’s a song that he sent me about a week ago. I already had the album finished, and we were waiting for it,” Arcángel said in a recent interview with Billboard Español.

Fans suspected something was in the works, given Benito’s Instagram Stories, in which he posted several throwback photos of the two from their early collaborations. Bad Bunny even posted a FaceTime selfie of them together with the text, “Cuando papa @arcangel diga.” These posts fueled fans to the point that some even envisioned a trap album on the way.

To no surprise, fans are mega-hyped about the unexpected release. A Twitter user wrote: “Gracias Arcangel & Bad Bunny for releasing La Jumpa. 🙏🏼 Shit is so fire 🔥.” Another Twitter user said: “Every time Bad Bunny and Arcangel do trap together, a part of me heals.”

The two superstars have worked together before — going way back. Arcángel has even made multiple appearances during Benito’s current World’s Hottest Tour, where they’ve performed their early collabs like “Me Acostumbré” and “Tu No Vives Asi” live. Other past collaborations include “Original” and “Por Ti.”

Earlier today (Nov. 30), Spotify announced Bad Bunny as the most-streamed artist worldwide for three years in a row. He’s also wrapping up the Latin American leg of his World’s Hottest Tour. On the other hand, Arcángel’s upcoming album Señor Santos is set to drop tomorrow (Dec. 1). Based on this single alone, we can’t wait to hear what Arcángel has prepared for us.
