Bam Bam Channel Their Inner Star Child in “Pare De Sufrir”
Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke are in the HOUSE! Mexico’s Bam Bam continues cranking out beautiful visuals to match their tunes. In this case, we have “Pare De Sufrir” synced to one of the famous segments from Kubrick’s/Clarke’s film, 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). The song has an epic sound reminiscent of some of Godspeed You! Black Emperor’s work (“Rockets Fall On Rocket Falls,” anyone?), a far cry from the more indie/chill wave-centric sounds of their previous singles. It’s a perfect match for the (re-edited) sequence.
