BIME Set to Bring Nicola Cruz, Los Planetas, and More to Bilbao for a Festival and Industry Meetup

For the third year in a row, BIME will once again bridge gaps between music scenes around the world and foster connections for future collaborations.

BIME is divided in two parts. First comes the Pro portion of the event, which consists of conferences and panels about the present and future of the music industry, along with a few selected musical showcases by the likes of Nicola Cruz, El Otro Yo, and Pommez Internacional. During BIME Pro, there will be discussions about music in the digital age, the relationship between music and video games, a talk with Fernando Yañez about the success and international recognition of some of the artists he manages, like John Talabot and Pional, and even a Berklee College of Music takeover. Experts from the BBC, Live Nation, Rock Al Parque, Vive Latino, and many others will rub shoulders with distinguished industry members from France and Germany, the former being the formal guest of this year’s BIME. Pro will take place from October 28 to 30, 2015.

On October 30 and 31, BIME Live will be hosting artists such as Imagine Dragons, Crystal Fighters, and Richard Ashcroft, as well as other exciting international musicians like Zola Jesus and Savages. High on the bill will be Spain’s own Los Planetas, while Supersubmarina and Nudozurdo will also play.
