WATCH: Bizarrap Teams Up With Arcángel For “Music Sessions #54”

Capitalizing off the success of his collaboration with Shakira, Bizarrap has unleashed his next single. Today (March 22), the Argentine producer released the music video for “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 54” with Arcángel.

Bizarrap has scored one of the biggest global hits of the year alongside Shakira with “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” Back in January, Shakira released the surprise diss track where she took aim at her ex Gerard Piqué and his girlfriend Clara Chia Martí. After going viral and generating multiple memes, “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.” debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That marked Bizarrap’s first time breaking into the top 10 of the all-genre chart.

On Monday, Bizarrap released a brief audio teaser of “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 54.” As most of his fans suspected, Arcángel was the auto-tuned voice in the video. This week, Bizarrap announced the news on Instagram by uploading a picture of himself with the rapper.

Now that Arcángel is in his Sr. Santos era, Bizarrap blends his trap beats with violin strings. “I’m the guy who kills beats / That’s my job,” Arcángel says in Spanish. He then proceeds to do just that with his slick rhymes about being one of Latine rap’s most outspoken rappers who does what he wants. Arcángel also references the previous “Music Sessions” when he spits, “[I’m] killing them like Shakira did to Piqué.” Bizarrap and Arcángel come through a swaggering club banger that carries an air of sophistication.

Arcángel previously collaborated with Bizarrap on his Sr. Santos last year. They teamed up for the song “Bottas,” which also featured Duki. Earlier this month, Bizarrap made his U.S. late night debut on Jimmy Fallon’s talk show. He also performed “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 54” with Shakira live for the first time. That same day of the performance, Bizarrap received four Guinness World Records with Shakira for their collaboration.
